Main Uses
In industry, it is mainly used as a solvent in industries such as explosives, plastics, rubber, fibers, leather making, oils, and paint spraying. It can also be used as an important raw material for synthesizing substances such as ketene, acetic anhydride, iodoform, polyisoprene rubber, methyl methacrylate, chloroform, and epoxy resin.
